I think Chris is right.....there's no one training method that's the best way......But the great thing about Crossfit is its not designed to follow one path......Crossfit gives you tools to make your own path.............I think there's some affiliates out there that preach their way is the only way........I say the Crossfit principals and way of life give anyone, young , old, disabled , or in awesome shape a tool to change your life!

Good points. I also think of CrossFit as a toolbox - and you need to learn how to use the tools to not hurt yourself, so its not the tools, it’s the use of the tools that creates problems. Names and words can also create problems, maybe that’s what Bruce Lee meant when he first refused to name his style - who knows, does the bible cite "in the beginning was the word" describes the root of all problems?

The Holy Grail of CrossFit is the hompepage and the Workout OF the Day (WOD), no question. On this page you found a place to protocol and present your WOD results (and find them again, they are "tagable"), save and share you CF videos and pics and meet people in your country and region you can perform with.
